Established in 1998, Gromac Quarries (NQ) operates a network of four quarries strategically located throughout Northern Queensland from Townsville to Richmond. Gromac Quarries (NQ) is well positioned for future growth through its strong pipeline of future projects, premium Quarry products, available operational capacity and diverse network of Quarries.

Gromac Quarries (NQ) Pty Ltd specialises in the supply of quality Transport Main Roads registered Quarry Products, producing concrete aggregates, sealing aggregates, rail ballast, drainage rock, sands and road base pavement materials. Gromac Quarries (NQ) offer value for money together with reliability of service and high quality of materials to supply North Queensland’s Civil, Rail and Road construction industries. 

Gromac Quarries (NQ) management team has a broad range of experience with managing and operating Quarries. Gromac Quarries (NQ) have established a comprehensive safety, quality and environmental management system that has provided the foundation for the company’s policies and procedures.

Quarry Locations

• Pinnacle Quarry (Townsville) is located off Hervey’s Range Road, approximately 6km from the Willows shopping center intersection.

• Plumtree Quarry (Charters Towers) is located off the Flinders Highway, approximately 14km East from Charters Towers.

• Beckford Quarry (Hughenden) is located off the Kennedy Development Road, approximately 12km East from Hughenden.

• Barabon Quarry (Richmond) is located off the Flinders Highway, approximately 34km East of Richmond.
